Through a bit of internet research I stumbled upon an article detailing the story of one amazing your girl. Her name is Sydney Martin and she was diagnosed with a rare disease called Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Instead of giving into the depression she was feeling, she began making beautiful necklaces.
